SMG Architects Lands Contracts with Environmental Protection Agency and National Park Service

BALTIMORE, MD  March 29, 2006 – The Baltimore office of Schamu Machowski Greco Architects, Inc. (SMG Architects) has been awarded contracts to provide on-call architectural services to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the National Park Service (NPS).  Both contracts cover one base year, with four annual renewal options. 

SMG Architects and its team of subconsultants will provide laboratory design services for EPA facilities in eleven states, including MA, RI, NY, NJ, PA, VA, MD, NC, GA, FL and AL.  The maximum value over the life of the contract is $15 million.

Under the NPS contract, SMG Architects will provide historic preservation services for buildings, structures and sites in Washington D.C., VA, MD and WV.  The maximum value of the contract is $2.5 million.
