SMG Architects Hires Jillian Roehmer
BALTIMORE, MD 14 August, 2006 -- Jillian Roehmer joined the Baltimore office of SMG Architects as Intern Architect to work on the firm’s expanding portfolio of healthcare projects. She will provide design support for clients including the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Ms. Roehmer’s most recent experience was with Stoker Associates in Bel Air, where she worked on the firm’s residential and commercial projects.
“Jillian will help us develop the studio so we can continue to provide effective and innovative solutions to our healthcare clients,” said Carol Freeman, AIA, Director of SMG Architects’ Healthcare Design Studio.
Ms. Roehmer earned a Master of Architecture degree from Norwich University in Northfield, VT. Her Master thesis involved the design of a community center for developmentally disabled adolescents in Locust Point. In addition, she received the 2006 Leadership Service and Merit Medal from the national fraternity Alpha Rho Chi for demonstrated leadership and initiative at Norwich University.
