SMG Architects Hires Jason George Smith
WHEELING, WV 2 November, 2006 – Jason George Smith has joined the Wheeling office of SMG Architects as Intern Architect. He will provide design support and create construction documents for the firm’s projects including preservation, hospitality, institutional, academic, residential and commercial clients.
Mr. Smith’s most recent experience includes two years of carpentry field work.
“Jason brings to SMG Architects excellent creative skills along with key construction field experience,” said Victor Greco, managing partner of the SMG Architects’ Wheeling office.
Mr. Smith earned a Master of Architecture degree from Miami University in Oxford, OH and a Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He volunteered for the University of Miami’s Center for Community Engagement in Over-the-Rhine, working on studio projects and rehabilitating houses for a disadvantaged Cincinnati community.
